I share my story in the hopes that I can help anyone who has struggled with body image, their relationship to food, self-worth, and self-love.

When I was 16, I was hospitalized for 10 days and almost died from anorexia. After that, I spent six weeks in an inpatient treatment program, followed by years of outpatient care and therapy. The lessons I’ve learned since then have been invaluable. I truly feel grateful for the journey—it gave me access to tools and insights that have helped me build a healthy, compassionate relationship with food, my body, and myself. If my younger self had known that such a complete transformation was possible, it would have made all the difference. I hope I can do the same for someone out there.

One of the greatest gifts to come from this experience was discovering art therapy. I found a way to process emotions and experiences through art and writing—a practice I still rely on today. What you see here is a glimpse into that ongoing journey…
